Application Process

  1. Admission to B.A./B.Com./B.Sc. I Semester shall be accepted in online mode only.
  2. Online Submission of Application shall immediately begin after the declaration of CBSE result every year.
  3. Only those students, who have passed their class XII examination in the year 2019 with ENGLISH as one of the subjects, are eligible to apply.
  4. Students of Catchment Area must have obtained minimum 40% marks in aggregate in the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) to be eligible to apply for admission to B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Semester-I.
  5. Students applying under Open Quota in B. A. Sem. I must have obtained minimum 55 Per Cent in aggregate in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) to be eligible to apply for admission.
  6. Students applying under Open Quota in B.Com. Sem. I must have obtained minimum 45 Per Cent in aggregate in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) to be eligible to apply for admission.
  7. Students applying under Open Quota in B.Sc. Sem. I must have obtained minimum 60 Per Cent in aggregate in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) to be eligible to apply for admission.
  8. It is mandatory for students to come in person to the concerned Admission Committee.
  9. Two seats each will be reserved for NCC and NSS volunteers on merit basis.
  10. All detailed information about the admission criteria are given in the Prospectus for the Academic Session 2023-24. Applicants are directed to read the prospectus carefully regarding procedure, seat reservation, catchment area, open quota and subject Combinations before filling up the form online. The applicant has to furnish/ upload all the essential documents at the time of online submission. Online submission of application can only be made at the website www.dngc.ac.in.
  11. However, the forms and prospectus for III & V Semester shall be made available after declaration of the RGU result.
Note:
  1. No Request by any means shall be entertained after the Last Date.
  2. Applicants for various courses should note that only those SUBJECTS which are offered in the college would be taken into consideration for calculation of aggregate percentage for the preparation of merit list. Following Subjects' Marks obtained by the candidates in 10+2 will be calculated for admission in Bachelor of Arts (First Semester): English, History, Political Science Economics, Geography and Hindi. For Bachelor of Science applicants, only marks obtained by candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be calculated (For CBZ applicants) and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be calculated (For PCM Applicants).
