Media Embargo

All manuscripts are subject to a media embargo from the time of submission until the article is either published online or rejected. While authors may discuss their findings with the media prior to publication, they must respect the media embargo. It is recommended that authors notify the Editorial Office of any upcoming media reports so that assistance can be provided, particularly regarding the publication date. The key findings of an article should not be shared with the press until the article is published online, and any media coverage of a published article should include a full link to the article.

Authors will be notified of any media releases or marketing efforts related to their work. The corresponding author's contact details may be shared with the media, and if any other author should be contacted for media inquiries, the Editorial Office should be informed in advance.
