B.A. Semester-I
  1. Out of 1400 seats, 936 seats are reserved for the students of Catchment Area strictly on merit basis.

Definition of Catchment Area for Arts Stream: Students permanently residing in capital complex/ passing out from a school located in the capital complex/ students whose parents are employed in the capital complex belong to catchment area.

  1. The remaining 464 seats are reserved for students from Non-Catchment Area (different parts of the state)/Open quota strictly on merit basis. Students with minimum 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply under this category.
B.Com. Semester-I
  1. Out of total 200 seats, 160 seats are reserved for students from Catchment Area purely on merit basis with minimum 40% marks secured in class XII. 40 seats are reserved for students from Non-Catchment Area/Open quota having minimum 45% marks in class-XII.
  2. Students must have passed class - XII with Commerce or Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects.

Definition of Catchment Area for Commerce Stream: Students permanently residing in capital complex/ passing out from a school of capital complex/ whose parents are employed in the capital complex, Students of Lower Subansiri, Kamle, Kurung Kumey, Papum Pare and Kra Daadi districts.

B.Sc. Semester-I
  1. Out of total 300 seats (PCM-150 &CBZ-150), 240 seats are reserved for students from Catchment Area strictly on merit basis with minimum 40% marks secured in class XII. 60 seats are reserved for students from Non-Catchment Area/Open quota with minimum 60% marks in class-XII.

Definition of Catchment Area for Science Stream: Students permanently residing in capital complex/ passing out from a school located in capital complex/ students, whose parents are employed in the capital complex/Students from Upper Subansiri, Lower Subansiri, Kamle, Kurung Kumey, Kra Daadi, Papum Pare, East Kameng, West Kameng & Tawang districts.

  1. For admission to CBZ (Chemistry-Botany-Zoology) combination students must have passed class-XII with Biology, Chemistry and Physics as subjects while for admission to PCM(Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics) combination, they must have passed class-XII with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Note:
  1. Students whose parents are residing at capital complex but have passed school from places other than capital complex, should submit employment certificate of the parent from their employer.
  2. Permanent Resident Certificate is to be produced wherever there is claim for permanent residence.
