National Service Scheme(N.S.S)

The D.N. Govt. college Itanagar N.S.S. wing was raised in 1985 with one programme officer and 100 volunteers. The number of volunteers has increased to 200 now and the unit is looked after by two programme officers. The wing undertakes regular activities as well as special camp during every session. It also adopts a nearby village as model village and undertakes various community developments works in the village.
