Since the Right to Information Act, 2005 (22 of 2005) has been enacted by the Parliament and has come into force from 15 June, 2005 and this Act is supposed to provide for right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority, Dera Natung Govt College, Itanagar has adhered to all the provisions and established an RTI Cell at College on 16th June 2009.

The above officers are to receive in writing the grievances as per norm and on payment of prescribed fees through Treasury challan to provide access to all permissible information within the stipulated timeperiod. If the information sought is not provided by the PIO within the specified period, the same can be submitted to the Appellate Authority meant for DNGC. All information seekers are to contact them as and when there is a need to ensure an atmosphere of fairness and transparency in the College.
