Some 250 candidates registered and appeared (both online and offline) in the 2nd Job Fair organized today by the Dera Natung Govt. College (DNGC), Itanagar in collaboration with National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) Centre, Itanagar under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Govt. of India. 
The overall event was skillfully coordinated by Botem Moyong, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, DNGC who is also the Centre Coordinator of NIELIT Study Centre DNGC. The event was organized in DNGC Auditorium wherein the interview was conducted in both online and offline modes. The unemployed youths from Pasighat and Tezu attended the interview through online mode. The event drew the active participation of around 20 Employers viz. NIGLA GROUP, LIC, Pantaloons, Mahindra, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki Arena, Security Agency, etc. 
Out of 250 candidates appeared, around 50 were selected by different employers which include NIGLA GROUP – 6 candidates, LIC – 20 candidates, Pantaloons – 4 candidates, NIELIT – 12 candidates and many more. The main objective of the event is to provide a platform which bridge the gap between employers and potential job seekers, offering a wide array of job opportunities across various sectors. It is a platform where a large number of Employers/Recruiters can meet up directly with the job seekers for direct job placement in various private companies and organisations across the country.
